I mean, all that ValPak is is a collection of ads. At least the periodicals that they're targeting with their demands have some actual content that (ideally) improves peoples' lives. (Note: our publication has no advertising, so I don't think I'm speaking selfishly here.) Maybe I’m way off here, but perhaps ValPak sees these periodicals as competitors for the advertising dollars that ValPak relies on for its entire business model…
