Adam Dewitz, Managing Editor of Print CEO

As Director of Technology at WhatTheyThink Adam provides vision and leadership on technology, architecture and management.

He has detailed knowledge of: Printing and Publishing Technology, Web-enabled Print Production, Software Development, Web Development, Information Systems, Digital Printing, Color Management, Graphic Arts Technology Standards, Document Engineering, Content Management and has served in production and technology roles in printing companies.

Adam holds a masters degree from Rochester Institute of Technology’s School of Print Media and a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communications Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. In his spare time, Adam runs the PrintWiki Project, an open-source knowledge base of information on the printing and graphic communication industry.

Adam is a research fellow in the Open Publishing Lab at the School of Print Media at Rochester Institute of Technology. The lab is a cross disciplinary center that focuses on researching new methods of content creation and developing innovative applications to publish across various media.

Patrick Henry has been a business-to-business journalist, editor, publications director, and educator since 1977. The holder of numerous awards, Henry is an expert in graphic communication technology who has published hundreds of articles in industry news media and taken part in many initiatives for knowledge-sharing, training, and recruitment. Bernice LeMaire

Bernice LeMaire is a sales and marketing professional known for securing customers, closing deals, and delivering innovative marketing concepts and strategies. An expert in the art and science of one-to-one marketing, Bernice is creative and understands the value of cross media. She was an Account Manager at Consolidated Graphics and a Marketing Product Manager at Standard Register. Prior to joining Standard Register, Bernice earned a Masters degree in Print Media at the Rochester Institute of Technology. She was an active participant in several Printing Industry Center research projects and authored monographs that addressed industry-wide issues and trends. Her graduate thesis focused on media distribution in the printing industry, analyzing physical and electronic distribution workflows. Noel Ward

Noel Ward is a print industry consultant, speaker and writer focusing on digital printing strategies and content development for print and electronic media. One of the best-known writers in the industry, Noel has worked with companies like Adobe Systems, Exstream Software, DeskNet, Océ, OPserver, and Xerox.

Dr. Joe Webb, Director of Economics and Research for WhatTheyThink

Dr. Webb is one of the industry’s best-known consultants. He is mostly known for his development of the successful and influential TrendWatch information service. Bob “BoSacks” Sacks

A veteran of the printing/publishing industry since 1970, Bob Sacks was always an innovator. Even back in the 70s he followed a more creative path than usual. He started his career where some people end — with the founding of his own weekly newspaper in the metro New York area.

After several years in the alternative press publishing newspapers in New York and Tucson, Az., he went on to become one of the founding fathers of High Times Magazine.

Since then Bob has held positions that include Publisher, Editor, Freelance Writer, Director of Manufacturing and Distribution, Senior Sales Manager, Circulator, Chief of Operations, Pressman, Cameraman, Lecturer, and Developer of web site companies.
Bob’s resume lists directorships at such prestigious companies as McCall’s, Time Inc, New York Times Magazine Group, International Paper, Ziff-Davis, CMP, and Bill Communications (VNU).

Today Bob’s firm, Precision Media Group, does private consulting and publishes “Heard on the Web: Media Intelligence”, a daily e-newsletter that delivers pertinent industry news to a diverse, worldwide, publishing community of over 11,750 media industry leaders. It is the longest running e-newsletter in the world.

Bob Sacks is a columnist and lecturer who regularly electrifies the media and marketing industry with the good and bad news about what he calls “El-CID” or Electronically Coordinated Information Distribution. His fun and extremely informative presentation covers the technological past, present and future possibilities for publishing at the digital edge.
